A Lycaenidae or even copper butterfly come the big family of butterflies, also referred to as a Gossamer-winged butterflies. It comprise just about 40 % of tons known butterfly coinage. Subfamilies include a blues Polyommatinae, a coppers Lycaeninae, a hairstreak butterfly Theclinae & a harvesters Miletinae.

Lycaenid butterfly feed in various sort of food including ferns, coniferous tree, fungi, lichens, cycads, homopterous insect & ant larvae.
